About Gahumian
Gahumian is the language of witches. An interesting feature of Gahumian is that, despite being spoken for several thousand years and across vast regions, it has gone virtually unchanged since its birth. Gahumian is not known to have any relatives but has many elements common to various human languages. A large portion of the Gahumian grammar is very similar to the grammar of Proto-Indo-European. Also, many words in Gahumian are found in other languages, some with the same meanings.
Gahumian is the official language of all witches and is used by the Witch Leagues and the Regal Council. All ritual are said in Gahumian, except for the nonverbals. It is preferred that a witch be able to fluently speak, read and write Gahumian. For that reason, it is the language in which all classes are conducted at magickal institutions of education. Witches almost exclusively use Gahumian when recording spells or other important information in their grimoires.
