About Ithaure
Ithaure is the official language spoken on the CWS conworld of Sahar, specifically in the tiny island nation of Ithaurea.
The language takes elements from many natural languages, such as English, Finnish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Welsh.
Language features:
Elements of agglutinative and fusional morphologies
Ergative-absolutive alignment
Plenty of allophones
SVO default word order (SOV in questions; VSO in the imperative)
Lots of noun cases
Three genders: solar, lunar, and neutral based on the final sound
Verbs inflect for voice, tense, and aspect/mood
