About Iwa
Iwa is a language spoken by the Iwan people. The Iwa are a race of anthropomorphic lizardfolk that resemble iguanas. It is a VSO language, with pronouns obligatorily suffixed to verbs. The Iwan language revolves around nouns, with verbs created through 7 suffixes with broad semantic meanings. Iwan culture features a high respect for nature and previous generations and/or the elderly, which is reflected in their language through its animate/inanimate gender distinction and different registers.
