Hello! Welcome to the Aghidi language page!

Now written with the beautiful and pointy  Mayessa script <3

I'm still fixing IPA ;p

Usual word order is SVO
If sentence is a question order is VSO
If sentence uses imperative ~ SOV
If sentence is suggesting the listener do something ~ OVS
Passive is weird - use the auxiliary 'to have'. See grammar test
If you are - Ġé co cułt
If you were - Ġé co cuł ... idk

If a pronoun needs to be in O position, affix (o)ġ [I keep forgetting this myself!]

5 Classes used for verbs. It's so logical it's not even worth putting it in the dictionary. Verbs are conjugated to class of the subject.
- Feminine, the subject is a human female
- Masculine, the subject is a human male
- Animate, the subject is an animal or plant excluding humans
- Inanimate, the subject is not alive in any way.
- Mixed/Abstract/Untouchable, the subject is a mix of people/things in different classes or non-physical like time or an emotion. If it was a group of all the same it would use the shared class of the subjects' conjugation. EVERY VERB IS CONJUGATED TO GENDER >:3

Ergative marker! Except for with the verb 'to be', where it is not used. (Ergative markers show when a noun becomes a subject. For example
The house wants to be big - O zywat lest cusp juçi - Lit. The house.erg want.inan.prs be.inf big

Adjectives are before nouns

Adverbs either after verb or at end of sentence. This is even more complex when word order is changed because they stay in their original location

& recordings are by the amazing and kind Orikrin Ywench (^_−)−☆

... I'm gonna try to put more structure in this intro ...
