About Aresian
Aresian is a language spoken by the Ares people in Iceland (Ysla), Norway (Norga) and the Faroe Islands (Førau). Small communities in Scotland (Skots) also speak it as a minority language. Despite being an isolated language, its orthography was borrowed from Norwegian because of the government enforcing it. In 1998, the Ares people were asked if they would like to reset their orthography and they declined.
It is sometimes referred to as the language of nature or as the peaceful language.
