About Avhannish
The language of choice for the peoples of Avhanna. The Sukanita Omnätariva, the merchant's language.

Noikivakä?  Avhannish is a massively simplified form of the ancient Voknic tongue, which bears resemblance to the languages of Hungarian and German in the modern world. However, Avhannish is a modernised version of Voknic, using an aesthetically-pleasing alphabet that is closer to Finnish. It is widely spoken by Avhans in  Avhanna, while existing as a minority language in Daske and also Nylivia. It evolved from Proto-Voknic during the 8th Era.

I'm new to this. Sorry if some things seem illogical or inaccurate, just trying to have fun while learning how to conlang!

[view] About AardanAardan is a family of languages containing everything spoken on, brought to, and originating from the continent of Aarda.
[edit] [view] Ängositakävet (Highlander Avhannish)Spoken by an estimated population of around 22,000 people in the south-west mountainous regions of Avhanna, with a higher concentration towards the fertile lands along the Avhan-Daske border. Years of oral tradition in rural areas of Avhanna has formed a dialect spoken mainly by farmers or miners, which consists of simplified words and phrases that roll off the tongue. However, to outsiders, the dialect can sound very confusing, even for fluent Avhannish speakers.
