About Gus
A product of someone who history would have recorded as the laziest linguist of all time (had history cared enough to remember him at all), Gus (an abbreviation of Grovian Universal Speech) was commissioned by the Grove as a simple way to communicate privately with all members internationally.
The apathy of the creator means that the vast majority of the basics of the language heavily resemble UK English. Fortunately the language does evolve for greater efficiency regularly.
