About Irishian
This is a conlang I'm making for a fantasy novel I'm writing.
Irishian, AKA Old Speech, is the language that used to be the standard language on the continent of Freidon until the arrival of the Madrians from across the sea whose language spread to popularity. Irishian is now rarely used in Freidon except by the Elven Tribes and some Dwarven Clans. Additionally, Mages learn Irishian, not for practical communication, but for incantations required for spells, rituals, and other magical feats.
