About Finnish-Greenlandic creole
A Finnish-Greenlandic creole! Because why not?
In the early 19th century, Finnish fishermen start to visit Greenland. Why? I don't know, maybe they wanted different fish or something. Anyway, they start to interact with the native Greenlanders and a pidgin is formed. Meanwhile, Denmark stops caring about Greenland and they give it to Finland because they seem to like it. Many finnish people move to Greenland, and the Finns' and Greenlanders' children learn the pidgin as a native language, making it a creole. Jump to modern day, and the creole is the official language of Greenland.
As you can see, the backstory is completely ridiculous, but I don't care. I'm making a Finnish-Greenlandic creole!
