About Maythric An hypothetical language as if the viking settlements in north america had survived and turned into their own community. Heavly based in Icelandic, Old Norse and Danish. Have two main forms: Algenær, the people's language, with danish influences; Haiðstayg, the news language, more "pure" and similar to icelandic. The only diference between those two forms, is the use of more archaic words and the writing form of the word. Usually the Haiðstayg form tends to search for expression and correction for a better pronunciation of words, one sound, one letter.
