About Smutang
☆'Nrumnaliqang Yetang Smutang' meaning 'the language of the Smutang(Madol) people' is the native language of the Multhic Madol tribe of the Kingdom of Eiramanca.
☆As the Madol tribesmen were traders, they travelled to and fro from the fictional Kingdom of Eiramanca to countries like India, Maldives, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
☆On one such trip to Sri Lanka they picked up the writing system of the Sinhalese and began to use an adaptation of it, as they did not have a writing tradition until then.
☆The lexicon is 90% derived from Proto-Multhic, but the influence of Sinhalese, Burmese and Thai is also apparent.
☆SVO word order and (C)(V)(C)(V),(C)(C)(V)(C)(V) and (C)(V)(C) word structure with the only coda allowed being ං(velar nasal).
☆The closest language to Him Giong soundwise. Otherwise the closest language to it woud be Obinefo Meludu, which is also a neo-Multhic language.
