Species Human/humanoid
About Rāho Raho is a language spoken by a species of alien that has a unique understanding of time and time travel. Consequentially, Raho's verb tense system allows for a virtually infinite number of ridiculously complex tenses, most of which don't translate into human languages at all. The basic word order is VSO, and adjectives follow the nouns they modify. Stress is assigned to the final syllable, unless there is a syllable containing a click, in which case the stress falls on the rightmost syllable that contains a click. Clicks can occur in onset or coda position. Voiceless uvular consonants become velar word-finally. Front vowels become lax before tautosyllabic laterals. The orthographic system was invented by humans; the species to whom this language belongs are telepathic and do not have a writing system.

How wonderful that we have met with a paradox. Now we have some hope of making progress.
