About Sisalian Sisalian is a language inspired by the tongues of the Caucasus Mountains, Nuxalk, Basque, and very broadly, Hungarian.
The goal is to maintain a non-complex syllable structure with no more than two syllables per root word, but add complexities through verb inflection, tones, and a relatively large consonant inventory.
Sisalian is fully ergative and even one-word phrases consisting of a single noun can be given complex meaning through derivational affixes.
Vowel harmony and assimilation are featured, but only through the affixes (one word need not change its vowels to make them harmonise).
