There are mainly two ways of expressing formality in Cillèxeon.

1) When speaking to someone of royal status and all fae from the Syè race (as they are all from royal status).
In this case, the formal/honorific (Cylli) 2nd person pronouns will suffice, such as Alle (you singular) and Allea (you plural), with the appropriate verb conjugation form. Sometimes this form is used for powerful entities, such as some elementals, ancient spiritis, and gods and goddesses.
Ex:
- Naccoeth? (Are [you] ready?) [informal]
- Naccaneth? (Are [you] ready?) [formal] (such as for a close friend of a royal fae)
- Naccaneth alle (Are you ready?) [honorific formal]

- Note that when using the formal Cylli form, no imperative can be used (the prefix "fär"). Only the suggestion prefix "miü" may be used, and the command is posed as a question.
Ex:
- Väs färnaccoeth! (Be ready now!) [informal]
- Väs miünaccaneth? (Should you be ready now?) [formal]

2) When addressing a non-royal fae, but who also requires a higher level of formality (a boss, a teacher, a witch, a mage, an alchemist, a leader, a dimension-traveller etc.), the 3rd person is used. And instead of the pronoun, the profession/title/name of the fae is used.
Ex:
- Naccoeth? (Are [you] ready?) [informal]
- Naccoeth arin? (Are you ready?) [informal]
- Nacceath èrwy? (Is the witch ready?) [formal]
- Nacceath Allatra? (Is Allatra ready?) [formal]
