Yes, a lot of these could be done with relative clauses, but relative clauses are kinda clunky.
- bidiíakkiuuc [fì:jɐksʉ:] - dividing, separating (cf. bidiíah 'split, share')
- biúukiuuc [fixʉ:sʉ:] - thieving, stealing (cf. biic 'take, borrow')
- ilbidiíakkiuuc [ilfì:jɐksʉ:] - connecting, joining (cf. ilbidiíah 'join, put with')
- onkiuuc [onsʉ:] - selling, providing (cf. oc 'sell')
- okiuuc [osʉ:] - eating (cf. og 'eat')
- osimkiuuc [osimsʉ:] - descending, falling (cf. osiw 'fall')
Fádallan participles arose from combinations of the verb 'to do a thing' and the stem verb in Old Fádallan, and since then have been significantly mutated, sometimes beyond recognition. Here's a list of them because there aren't participle wordlinks and I don't really want to add them all.✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
