Nitan (nit. qa nita ruqa /ʔɐ n̪̊it̪ɐ r̥uʔɐ/) is an agglutinative language with strong fusional tendencies and a relatively simple phonological structure. It has only three vowels (excluding allophones) and comparatively small consonant inventory, the most interesting feature of which is voiceless nasal stops and r.

Nitan is the language of the Katannrric nobility.
Katannrri (katańŕi /kɐt̪ɐn̪rɪ/ literally: land of dragon) is... literally, a land on the dragon. Mountains are rising on the back of a great ancient lizard so big it can crash a village under its foot. Fortunately, the dragon is very slow and can be steered away from other settlements on the Great North.
Katannrric people swear their loyalty to the Grand Gref of the Northern Provinces. They are simple people and prefer safe trading, not independence. And Grand Gref can get rare draconic materials much cheaper than his rivals.
