O God, bless the Pannonian people
Wake them from the sleep of death
And deliver them from the barbarians
Instill in them the ardent flames
Stay the bows and sabres
And free our ancient land
Awaken Pannonia! Throw off the foreign yoke!
Make proud the shades of Arpad and Augustus
Reconquer the plains and the Danube
