Derivational Morphology
First of all, in Jondish, there are 4 main word classes: nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs, which are generated from the word root(which carries the meaning).
ROOT+ (vowel or a consonant) = noun #a noun can be a root as well, so the derivation is not present
VERB=NOUN(+-om)infinitive form #root form of a verb is identical to the noun or to the word root itself
ROOT+(-om)= VERB(inf. form)
ADJECTIVE can be formed in various ways:
1) ROOT+(-um)= ADJ.(pos.nom.sg.)
2) NOUN+(-um)= ADJ.(pos.nom.sg.)
3) VERB(root form)+(-um)= ADJ.(pos.nom.sg.)
ADVERB is formed with ADJ.(pos.nom.sg.) + -li , and it is not conjugated further.
Nouns or more precisely root words can be derived further. These are the possibilities:
