An Action Nominal Construction is the construction equivalent to English "Ha's running", "Hb's buying of the dress", "the girl's reading of the book" etc. That is, a construction involving a nominalized verb carrying the meaning similar to a clause.

An Action Nominal Construction consists of an action nominal, which is the nominalized form of a verb referring to the event or the action.

In Lonmai Luna, the Action Nominal Construction consists of the gerund form of a verb and the subject or the object of the action in the possessive form, the subject and the object of a clause can't occur at the same time.

Some examples of action nominal construction are shown below:
- on cukawik imai alen Ha - DEF run-GER of PND Ha - Ha's running
- on onsepwik imai on dal - DEF swim-GER of DEF person - the person's swimming
- on lewepwik imai on dal - DEF read-GER of DEF person - the person's reading
- on lewepwik imai on bahi - DEF read-GER of DEF book - the reading of the book

To express both arguments within an Action Nominal Construction, the direct object is often incorporated into the action nominal, forming a compound word. For example:

- on bahilewepwik imai on dal - DEF book-read-GER of DEF person - the person's reading of the book
