[edit] [top]Demostratives

There are four different demostrative roots, which are inflected for gender and case. Pronoun inflection is not identical to the one for nouns. Root kur is used for things near the speaker, ang near the hearer, and ďo away from both. haďo is used for far things that can't be seen. When used as determiners they agree with the noun.
Pronouns are formed with the locative case of the demonstrative followed by the third person pronoun. The locative form of this is used as an adverbial demonstrative.
