Pronouns in Wondrish Sign Language

[comments] Many signed languages form pronouns by pointing at the referent of the pronoun. But it's rude to point, even when linguistically relevant. You don't want to be rude, do you? No. No, you don't. And if you do want to be rude then you're a bad person and you should stop reading this right now.

In order to be not-rude, WSL doesn't use pointing to point pick out a referent. Instead, you make a Gindex up, thumb and other fingers curled to palm hand as though you were about to point, and then move the hand--finger still pointing up--toward the referent.

A few pronouns work a bit differently, but still intuitively:

First person singular: Touch the side of your hand to your chest. You don't do this with other pronouns because touching people's chests without their permission is still quite rude, even if you're not pointing at them.
First person dual: 'Zigzag' your hand between yourself and whoever the other person is.

Modify your pronouns with:
Helicopter motion: Move your hand in a horizontal circle to reference multiple people without picking out each person individually.
Ipinky up, everything else curled toward palm, like a fancy person handshape: Changing the handshape makes a possessive.
