[comments] grammar, pronouns, ytna Within the pronoun system, Yetena differentiates between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person, along with singular, dual, and plural. On top of that, the third person pronouns can be further divided into exclusively feminine, exclusively masculine, gender-neutral or collective, and inanimate.
singular | dual | plural | |
1st inclusive | ra | am | ye |
1st exclusive | kif | so | |
2nd | ñe | vir | ats |
3rd masculine | net | tef | tsu |
3rd feminine | not | zod | gał |
3rd neutral | yud | ram | ur |
3rd masculine | il | sil | boña |
It should be worth noting that when speaking about groups in the 3rd person, the masculine is only used when the entire group is masculine, and likewise for feminine pronouns. With groups of mixed-gender, mixed-animacy, or of entirely non-binary identifying persons, the 3rd person neutral pronouns should be used.
