Does there have to be some sort of harmony between the If-clause and the Then-clause? For instance, if my If-clause is in the past, does my Then-clause also have to be in the past, or can it use the future?

If-Then constructions are very easy in English. You can slap just about any tense behind either If or Then. This is not the case in Gallifreyan. In Gallifreyan, If-Then constructions require a perfective Tense (either past or future) to follow If, and an imperfective tense (either past or future) to follow Then. In the case of EP verbs, use plain past/future tense. Keep in mind, this rule only applies to PerTime (personal tenses). UniTime (universal tense) can be anything, as it is relative to the timestream of the universe and not to the timestream of the person speaking.
When you wish to use a Conditional Tense, remember that Conditional tense isn't a tense in Gallifreyan. Please use b'tu soɾɪlaɹ + infinitive (could), ʍul soɾɪlaɹ + infinitive (should), or ɹu soɾɪlaɹ + infinitive (would) just like you would at any other time.
Both If (jos) and Then (t̪əm) come before the clause they alter. ✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
